What it is

A synthetic Tuftsin analog from the same Russian institute as Semax. Used clinically in Russia for generalized anxiety. Provides calm without sedation or memory impairment.

Mechanism of action

Modulates GABA, serotonin and enkephalin systems; raises BDNF; decreases stress-induced expression of monoamine oxidase A. Distinct from benzodiazepines—no GABA-A direct agonism.
